PROJECTS
The Fedorini Project is the realization of a many years desire to build a car of my own design. The basis is a FIAT 1200 cabriolet, last of a line of FIATs that was the basis of many limited production Italian specials referred to as "Etceterini".It uses most major components from the cabriolet and a few others from other FIAT models. Initial frame design was done on a computer in three dimension.
Body design was done in 1/8 scale in clay covered in foil to read curves and reflections.
Frame components were laid out and welded on a welding table...
...then assembled.
Major components such as suspension, brakes, rear axle and steering were rebuilt and assembled to the chassis.
Rolling chassis ready for bodywork.
